About Us

About The Founder

Born and raised in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn, Katrina Cooke Brownlee has the unique ability to relate to the young women she works with because she was an at-risk teen. At-risk teens are more likely to be depressed, use drugs, become involved in violent activities, go to jail, or commit suicide. Not only has Katrina overcome numerous barriers to become a successful 1st Grade Detective at the New York Police Department, she also worked in Community Affairs Youth Division in the New York Police Department. She decided to help other young women gain confidence and knowledge through mentorship and classes to lead successful, healthy lives so they will never have to go through life alone.
